Gambling at Batpor is meant to be fun – a bit of excitement watching the cricket, spinning a roulette round, or catching a multiplier on a crash game. The moment it stops being fun, it becomes a problem. This page covers everything you need to know about playing responsibly at Batpor, from the tools we provide to how to recognise when things might be getting out of hand.
When Pakistani players talk about responsible gaming, a lot of people assume it just means playing less or that the platform is trying to get you to stop. That is not how Batpor sees it. Responsible gaming is simply about making sure the activity stays on your terms – that you are choosing to play because you enjoy it, that you know how much you are spending, and that you stop when you decide to stop rather than when your wallet forces you to.
For the vast majority of Batpor players, responsible gaming just means setting a monthly deposit limit and checking in on their session time once in a while. It does not require any drama or intervention. But for a smaller number of people, gambling can become something that takes over – financially, emotionally, in terms of how much time it occupies. Batpor takes that seriously and has built tools and support pathways specifically to address it.
The golden rule at Batpor: only gamble money you can genuinely afford to lose. Not money budgeted for rent, groceries, your kids' school fees or any essential expense. Betting and casino games are entertainment – treat them the same way you would treat spending on a night out with friends. You enjoy it, you have a budget for it, and you do not chase losses when it does not go your way.
Every one of these tools is free, available immediately in your account settings, and requires no approval or waiting period to activate
Set a maximum amount you can deposit into your Batpor account per day, per week or per calendar month. Once your limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets. Lowering a deposit limit takes effect immediately. Raising one requires a 72-hour cooling-off period before it applies – which gives you time to reconsider.
Set a ceiling on how much you are willing to lose within a defined period. If your net losses reach that amount, Batpor will automatically suspend betting and gaming activity for the remainder of that period. This is a particularly useful tool for players who find it hard to stop when they are down.
Choose a session duration – 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, or a custom time – and Batpor will display a reminder when you have been active for that long. The reminder prompts you to take a break, review your session and decide consciously whether to continue.
Need a short break but do not want to fully exclude yourself? A cooling-off period temporarily suspends your ability to place bets or play games for 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. Your account remains accessible for balance review only. The period cannot be shortened once started.
Self-exclusion is the most serious responsible gaming tool Batpor offers. Activating it locks your account completely for a minimum of 6 months or permanently. You will not be able to log in, deposit or bet during the exclusion period. Marketing communications are also stopped. This tool is for players who feel they need a firm boundary.
Batpor can display a reality check overlay during active gaming sessions that shows how long you have been playing and your net win/loss for the session. This interruption is brief but it prompts the kind of conscious pause that helps players make informed decisions about whether to continue.
How to access these tools: Log into your Batpor account and go to Account Settings > Responsible Gaming. All tools listed above are available there immediately, with no form to submit and no staff approval required. If you have trouble accessing them, contact our 24/7 support team via live chat.
The whole process takes about two minutes and does not require contacting support. Here is exactly what to do.
Open batpor.com on your browser or the Batpor mobile app and log in using your registered email and password. If you have forgotten your password, use the password reset option on the login page.
Click or tap your username or profile icon in the top right corner of the screen. From the dropdown, select "Account Settings". This opens your personal account control panel.
Inside Account Settings, find the "Responsible Gaming" tab. All available tools – deposit limits, loss limits, session reminders, cooling-off and self-exclusion – are listed in this single section.
Click on the tool you want to use, enter your preferred setting (for example, Rs 5,000 per week deposit limit), confirm and save. Restrictive changes (lower limits, cooling-off, self-exclusion) apply immediately. Increases to limits apply after a 72-hour delay.
The Responsible Gaming section will show your active tools and their current values. You will also receive an email confirmation of any responsible gaming setting changes to your registered address.
Problem gambling does not announce itself suddenly. It tends to creep up gradually, and by the time many people notice it, the financial or emotional damage is already significant. The signs below are worth knowing – not because they will definitely apply to you, but because catching them early makes everything easier to address.
If you recognise two or more of these patterns in your own behaviour over the past month, it is worth having an honest conversation with yourself – and potentially using one of Batpor's responsible gaming tools or reaching out to our support team.
Recognising a problem early is a sign of strength, not weakness. Batpor's support team handles these conversations privately, respectfully and without judgment. You are not alone in this.
Gambling with money that was meant for essential expenses – rent, utilities, groceries or school fees.
Chasing losses – placing larger bets to try to win back money lost in a previous session.
Lying to family members or friends about how often you gamble or how much you have spent.
Feeling irritable, restless or anxious when you are not gambling or when you try to cut back.
Spending significantly more time gambling than you originally intended – sessions running hours longer than planned.
Borrowing money from family, friends or through loans to fund gambling activity.
Gambling as a way to escape stress, problems at work, family issues or feelings of anxiety or depression.
Finding yourself thinking about gambling constantly – planning the next session, reliving past wins, or calculating how to raise more funds.
Tick any statements that apply to you in the past 30 days. This is private – nothing is sent or stored.
Batpor is strictly for players aged 18 and above. We use a combination of registration-stage age declaration, CNIC verification and automated account monitoring to ensure that underage individuals are not using the platform. Any account found to belong to a minor is permanently closed immediately, with deposited funds returned to the payment source and all winnings forfeited.
If you share a device with young people in your household, we strongly recommend using your device's built-in parental control features to prevent access to betting and casino websites. Most Android and iOS devices have screen time or parental controls under Settings that can block specific websites or categories of content.
Never share your Batpor login details with anyone, including family members. If you believe a minor in your household has accessed your Batpor account, contact our support team immediately. We will investigate and take appropriate action quickly.
Tip for parents: Keep the Batpor app or website bookmarked rather than saved with auto-login, and use a password manager rather than a remembered password so that it cannot be accessed by others on the same device.
These are not rules – they are habits that make the experience better and safer for most players who use Batpor regularly
Decide how much PKR you are comfortable spending before you open the app. Do not go above that amount regardless of how a session is going. Batpor's deposit limit tool automates this for you.
It is very easy to lose track of time when you are in the middle of a crash game or watching a live match. Set the session reminder to 60 or 90 minutes and take a genuine break when it alerts you.
If you have had a bad session, the worst thing you can do is place bigger bets trying to recover. Walk away and come back another time. The games will still be there – your money may not be if you keep chasing.
Stress, arguments, anxiety or boredom are poor reasons to start a gaming session. Gambling in these states often leads to poor decisions, bigger bets and outcomes that make the underlying feeling worse rather than better.
When you win, withdraw at least part of your winnings and move them out of your Batpor account. This way you lock in gains rather than feeding them back into the next session.
If gambling is causing you concern, talking about it helps – whether that is with a trusted friend, family member or through Batpor's support team. Keeping the problem private tends to make it worse over time.
Batpor will never contact a player who has activated self-exclusion with promotional offers, bonus incentives or re-engagement messages for the duration of their exclusion period.
Batpor will honour all deposit limit reductions immediately, without requiring the player to contact support, provide a reason or wait for review.
Batpor's support team is trained to handle responsible gaming conversations sensitively. Any player who reaches out about gambling-related concerns will receive helpful, non-judgmental assistance.
Batpor will never make it difficult, slow or conditional to activate responsible gaming controls. These tools are always one or two taps away in account settings.
Batpor will continue to invest in its responsible gaming infrastructure, adding new tools and improving existing ones as player needs and best practices evolve.
Batpor will monitor platform activity for signs of problem gambling behaviour and proactively reach out to at-risk players before the situation escalates.
